from the volunteers and participants of the Greensburg Y.M.C.A. Aquatics Program and Special Olympics-Westmoreland County Cycling program to all of the walk sponsors, prize donors and walkers who made the 2007 walk a great success. 

Close to100 walkers came out on a cool but beautiful day for the second annual Lake Side 5k Walk and raised more than $12,000.  Once again, Twin Lakes Park was at it's best and provided a scenic and comfortable site.

This year's walk was in memory of Brian J. Downey, who participated with both organizations for nearly 30 years.  He was and still is an inspiration to all of us.
